Lasserre Bradley, Founder and President, brings 28 years of experience in design, construction, and development, dedicated to promoting human flourishing through the built environment. Grounded in a conviction that every person possesses inherent dignity, Lasserre has developed a distinctive ability to orchestrate community, financial, and human resources toward creating complete places that foster a sense of belonging, respond thoughtfully to environmental challenges, and achieve economic vitality. Throughout his career, he has been mentored by and collaborated with leading founders and industry innovators, bringing both shared wisdom and practical expertise to Garden City Communities.


  • Bentley Koepke – Learning directly from design leaders John Bentley and Martin Koepke, Lasserre honed his design skills gleaning extensive knowledge in the use of materials, a keen eye for aesthetics, and working at a wide range of scales.

  • Ackermann Group – Working directly with third generation principals of a firm founded in the 1940’s, TJ and Dobbs Ackermann, Lasserre learned the development, construction and finance industry, crafting enduring residential and commercial assets that have stood the test of time.

  • Pennrose – In collaboration with owners and partners Richard Barnhart, Mark Dambly, and Tim Henkel, established and grew the Midwest region for this national firm. Learned the systems and processes which have allowed the firm to grow to a substantial national scale, still delivering unique and high-quality housing and mixed-use solutions.

  • Model Group – Learned the power that comes through alignment of mission and tireless execution as Model contributed heavily to the renaissance of Cincinnati’s Over-The-Rhine neighborhood as well as several other local and regional communities. Working directly with principals Steve Smith, Bobby Maly, and a talented team, Lasserre directed the firm’s market-rate mixed-use developments including condominiums, apartments and neighborhood commercial retail environments. Additionally, Lasserre delivered some of the most rewarding developments of workforce, affordable, and senior housing with a variety of service-focused non-profit partners.

Lasserre Bradley brings 28 years of experience orchestrating transformative real estate development across the full spectrum of project delivery, from concept through completion. His track record includes nearly $1Billion in real estate development while producing or preserving over 3,500 residential units spanning affordable, workforce, market-rate and senior housing, urban neighborhood revitalization, historic preservation, and thriving mixed-use neighborhoods including retail, office and institutional space.

Throughout his career, Lasserre has held senior leadership positions with local and nationally recognized development firms, including Vice President of Development with the Ackermann Group, Regional Vice President of the Midwest with Pennrose, and President of Development with The Model Group. This experience, combined with his deep conviction that human flourishing emerges from thoughtfully designed places, led him to found Garden City Communities based on this vision. Through his life’s work he is dedicated to preserving historic neighborhoods, renewing underperforming communities, and building vibrant, walkable environments that reflect human dignity, foster connection and well-being in sustainable communities.

EXPERTISE & ADVISORY SERVICES: Lasserre’s expertise spans development strategy, creative financing structures, the gamut of implementation process, owner’s representation, and public-private partnerships. He works with municipalities, community development corporations, and aligned investors to unlock neighborhood potential while advancing equity, sustainability, and authentic community flourishing through practicing the principled art of city-making rooted in beauty, creativity, integrity, and collaboration.

EDUCATION & CIVIC ENGAGEMENT: Lasserre holds a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from the University of Kentucky. He serves on his local township zoning commission, serves on the Board of Inclusive Housing Resources, and has represented the Cincinnati chapter of Urban Land Institute on regional product councils for Urban/Mixed Use Development and Public/Private Partnerships.

A Greater Cincinnati resident, Lasserre and his wife Marsha have three adult children, three active sons at home and a growing number of grandchildren.
